Sashastra Seema Bal is a Central Armed Police Force under Ministry of Home Affairs. SSB is currently conducting various recruitment drives for recruiting eligible candidates for numerous posts of constables, Sub-Inspectors and others.
SSB is inviting Applications for total 1524 Posts of Constables in Tradesman Cadre.


Vacancies:-
  • Constables (Tradesman) - Total 1524 Posts
  • The posts are distributed in total 11 trades.
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/- per month.
Eligibility:-
Age should be between 18-25 Years as on Aug 09, 2012.
Should have completed matriculation with Two years work experience in respective trade.
There are several medical and other standards defined in the eligibility criteria, so we advise the candidates to Refer to official notification for more details on eligibility criteria and other required details.

Selection Procedure :-
Selection Process will consist of several stages to test the suitability of the candidate from Multidimensional views.
  • Documentation
  • Physical Standard Test ( PST)
  • Physical Efficiency Test ( PET)
  • Written Test
  • Technical test (Trade Test)
  • Final Medical Examination
  • Review Medical Examination

Application Procedure :-
Interested and eligible Candidates have to send there applications filled in the given format (in the end of the Advertisement) along with DD/IPO of Rs. 50 for GEN/OBC (Not required for SC/ST), Questionnaire and other certificates and Annexures as stated in the advertisement.
The application should reach the given address by Aug 9, 2012. (The date is Relaxed till Aug 16, 2012 for some places).
